Superintendent
My client are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join their growing team! The Superintendent will oversee the daily operations of town home construction projects.

Description
- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities for projects from start to finish.
- Develop and maintain construction schedules, ensuring timely completion of each phase of the project.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Oversee the quality of work performed on-site, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular site safety inspections.
- Monitor project budgets and control costs, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to report on project progress and address any issues.
- Conduct final inspections and ensure the successful handover of completed townhomes to clients.
- Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise, maintaining a positive working environment.
- Ensure all project documentation, including permits, inspections, and change orders, is completed and filed appropriately.
Profile
- Degree in Construction Management or related field. (or relevant industry experience)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- OSHA certification or other relevant safety certifications are a plus.
