I am partnered with a multi-million dollar manufacturer located in the Roselle, IL area, who is currently looking to bring on a Senior Pricing Analyst to support the Sales and Operations Teams. The Senior Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share. This role involves analyzing market trends, cost structures, and competitive positioning to recommend pricing actions that align with the company's financial and strategic objectives.

The Senior Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share. This role involves analyzing market trends, cost structures, and competitive positioning to recommend pricing actions that align with the company's financial and strategic objectives.
Description
- Develop and implement pricing strategies for products and services across various market segments.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to understand market positioning and competitive pricing.
- Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on market dynamics and business objectives.
- Perform detailed cost, margin, and price sensitivity analysis to support pricing decisions.
- Conduct competitive market analysis and benchmarking to identify trends and pricing opportunities.
- Prepare and present pricing reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Analyze profitability by customer, product line, and channel to identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with finance to ensure pricing aligns with overall profitability goals.
- Monitor margins and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
- Partner with product management to assess cost structures, product development, and lifecycle management for pricing decisions.
- Work with sales teams to provide guidance on pricing proposals, discount structures, and pricing negotiations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast revenue impacts based on pricing strategies.
- Utilize pricing software and tools to model scenarios and generate pricing recommendations.
- Maintain pricing databases and ensure data accuracy for analysis and decision-making.
- Drive improvements in pricing processes and systems to increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with corporate pricing policies and relevant legal or regulatory requirements.
- Identify risks associated with pricing strategies and propose mitigation solutions.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented pricing strategies.
- Provide insights into key pricing metrics such as price elasticity, sales volume, and profitability.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or related field, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in pricing tools and financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Knowledge of market analysis techniques and competitive benchmarking.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
