Traveling Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Looking for an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join a top ranked General Contractor expanding into the Southeast market. They have completed work in the Southeast over the last 5 years and now have secured a strong project pipeline through 2027. Looking to bring on an experienced professional to help run the new office and grow with the company.

Client is a top ranked General Contractor who has been an established leader in the Southeast for 30+ years. They have a great reputation for industry leading benefits and strong light industrial client relationships. This GC is continuing to grow very quickly, but strategically, and looking to bring on a Superintendent to help them expand in the South.

Description

• Primary site leader of all subordinate superintendents, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Establish project plan, maintain weekly progress and pulse of project.
• Oversee and coordinate all operations at the job site.
• Supervise labor and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely service delivery.
• Foster positive relationships with owners, design consultants, and project managers.
• Collaborate with local inspectors and utility representatives for compliance assurance.
• Strictly enforce Safety Program and manage the Quality Control Program.
• Prepare and maintain detailed short-term schedules.
• Manage accurate invoice payment process and financial management of the project costs.
• Address and resolve daily operational issues in the field.
• Prepare daily reports with all manpower and significant activities.

Profile

• Ground up construction experience required
• Light industrial or manufacturing construction experience preferred
• 5+ years of experience working in the construction industry as a Superintendent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Stable work record
• Knowledge in Construction Management or related field required

Job Offer

• Base Salary $110,000 - $140,000
• 4 weeks PTO
