Inventory and Materials Planning Manager
The Inventory and Materials Manager is responsible for optimizing inventory levels, managing consignment stock, and reducing excess and obsolete materials by collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role involves driving continuous improvements, ensuring adherence to planning processes like SIOP, and managing key performance metrics such as inventory optimization, E&O, and customer delivery performance.

Description
- Optimize inventory levels and monitor material handling flows for assigned plant locations.
- Define and track inventory targets using statistical tools, SIOP targets, and material flow setup.
- Work cross-functionally with teams like Sales, Customer Desk, Vendor Scheduler, and Production to reduce excess and obsolete materials.
- Monitor consignment stock consumption and aging, ensuring compliance with supplier contracts.
- Perform annual reconciliation of consignment and subcontracting stock with suppliers.
- Create and manage Excess & Obsolete list, collaborating with Sales, Maintenance, and other teams for reductions.
- Coordinate Phase In/Phase Out projects from an inventory management perspective.
- Monitor and control stock levels for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) materials in the warehouse.
- Participate in daily logistics meetings and other necessary meetings or calls.
- Ensure adherence to inventory optimization and operational processes (MRP, MPS, SIOP).
- Understand and analyze Sales, Inventory & Operations Plan (SIOP) reports.
- Collaborate with Global Supply Chain processes (Demand Planning, SIOP, MPS).
- Drive continuous improvements by following defined standards and proposing enhancements.
- Contribute to GEM deployment and business process excellence.
- Lead key projects using Six Sigma principles and drive the annual SDP process.
- Align and execute STRAP & AOP with functional KPIs: Inventory, 3pt DOS, Production, E&O, Premium Freight.
- Ensure compliance with IATF16949 and ISO9001 quality standards for plant activities.
- Observe and adhere to internal HS&E guidelines.

Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years proven experience in inventory planning in the industrial/manufacturing sector
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Job Offer
