Mechanical Engineer - Industrial - Manchester, NH

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing production assembly equipment to support high-volume manufacturing. Joining a team of 5 others, in this role you will be designing fixes and updates for machinery, ensuring that everything on the manufacturing floor is running smoothly. You will collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment meets performance and quality standards.

Description

The Mechanical Engineer will:

• Develop conceptual layouts for production assembly equipment.
• Sustain equipment and machinery on the manufacturing floor, designing ways to improve.
• Create detailed engineering drawings from conceptual designs.
• Design pneumatic control systems for assembly machinery.
• Process engineering change orders for existing equipment.
• Assemble and test prototype production assembly equipment.
• Troubleshoot and debug production assembly equipment.
• Provide technical support to production departments and other facilities.
• Select and specify mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components for equipment.

Profile

A successful Mechanical Engineer should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Hands-on experience with assembly equipment design and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Familiarity with pneumatic systems and mechanical components preferred.

Job Offer

• Competitive base salary between $75,000 and $95,000 annually.
