Finance Data Analytics Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Consultant to assist the Finance team with the critical implementation of the OneStream EPM tool and the decommissioning of the existing Oracle-based Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the investment banking industry and be proficient in data validation as well as designing Power BI dashboards.

Description

• Collaborate with finance, IT, and third-party system integrators (SI) to ensure data integrity during the one-time migration, focusing on accuracy in financial records, hierarchies, and reporting structures.

• Perform data validation and execute UAT test scripts provided by the SI, addressing discrepancies between legacy Hyperion data and OneStream outputs.

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards using OneStream data to automate reporting and provide actionable insights on revenue, expenses, and balance sheet data.

• Train end-users on the use of Power BI dashboards and OneStream reporting features to facilitate adoption and ensure effective utilization.

Profile

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in data analysis and business intelligence within the financial services industry.

• Proficient in creating and designing interactive dashboards using Power BI, ensuring they are intuitive, informative, and optimized for delivering key business insights.

• Possess 3+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis, with expertise in using Power BI, SQL, and writing complex DAX code for advanced measures or ETL processes.

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of databases and OLAP cubes, ensuring the effective ingestion of data into Power BI semantic layers for accurate reporting and analysis.

• Showcase excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to craft compelling data-driven stories through Power BI, engaging both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
