Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Power Supplies

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of gradient power supplies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, along with expertise in circuit design, simulation, and testing, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Description

The position will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for

• Leading the design and development of switching power amplifiers and power supplies to ensure they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.

• Conducting detailed circuit design, simulation, and analysis to optimize power supply performance.

• Developing and implementing testing protocols to validate the functionality and reliability of gradient power supplies.

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues in gradient power supply systems.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Electrical Engineering degree or similar
• 5-10+ years of experience with high performance power supplies and circuit design for control devices
• Simulation software skills: SPICE, Altium, MATLAB, etc.
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to details
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Desire to be hands on
