Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Power Supplies
Client Details
My client is a small, cross-functional group of engineers works collaboratively to develop innovative new products, leveraging cutting-edge technology and diverse skill sets. The team's dynamic environment fosters creativity and problem-solving to drive advancements in their field. The site functions as the R&D site for a large, well known company.
Description
The position will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for
Leading the design and development of switching power amplifiers and power supplies to ensure they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
Conducting detailed circuit design, simulation, and analysis to optimize power supply performance.
Developing and implementing testing protocols to validate the functionality and reliability of gradient power supplies.
Troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues in gradient power supply systems.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Electrical Engineering degree or similar
- 5-10+ years of experience with high performance power supplies and circuit design for control devices
- Simulation software skills: SPICE, Altium, MATLAB, etc.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to details
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Desire to be hands on
