Our client is a market leader in fasteners / components - selling to a wide array of industries including - Aerospace, Automotive and more. After a recent merger they are looking for a Sales Leader to take over a $30M division in the Elmhurst IL area.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue targets within the assigned region.
- Develop business in both new and existing accounts.
- Lead and scale a team of 7-10+ people - inside sales & territory sales.
- Work closely with team to achieve sales plans and targets.
- Refine the sales strategy, team KPI's to define a vision and success.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the region, including new customer acquisition and existing customer growth.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer service, to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.
- Work with close / adjacent divisions to meet customer needs.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and tactics as needed.
- Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote our client's products and build brand awareness.

Profile
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field. Relevant sales experience also considered.
- 7-10 years of technical sales experience.
- 3-5+ years in sales leadership - ideally within fasteners or other relevant field.
- Prior sales manager with strong results and no fasteners expereince will be considered.
- Prior leadership expereince is a must have - individual contributors will not be considered.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to come onsite in the Elmhurst IL area as needed.
