Description
The key responsibilies of the Field Service Technician are:
- Install, commission, and troubleshoot continuous mixing systems and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to minimize customer downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on-site.
- Provide technical training and support to customers for proper equipment operation.
- Document service activities, prepare reports, and communicate findings with internal teams.
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to provide feedback for product improvements.
- Travel up to 70% across North America to customer sites for service and support.
Profile
The successful Field Service Technician will have the following:
- Strong Mechanical & Electrical Expertise - Hands-on experience with capital equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- PLC Experience Preferred - Familiarity with programmable logic controllers for diagnostics and system optimization.
- Proficiency with Measurement Tools - Skilled in using calipers, multimeters, and other diagnostic instruments.
- High Travel Flexibility - Willing to travel up to 70% across North America for on-site installations and support.
- Problem-Solving Mindset - Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
- Customer-Focused Approach - Strong communication skills to provide technical training and support.
