My client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team based out of Warrenton, VA. My Client is a leading 8A contractor with over 15 years of expertise in underground utility installations, specializing in trenchless methods for the data center and power plant sectors.

Generating an annual revenue of $50M, they are known for their strong market reputation, collaborative culture, and commitment to fostering growth and innovation.
Located in Warrenton, VA, My Client partners with renowned companies such as Whiting Turner, HITT, EE Reed, Hensel Phelps, Turner, and DPR. With a dedicated team of 15+ employees, including professionals in estimating, project management, and field operations, they focus on delivering exceptional results while growing together as a team.
Description
As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and delivering dry utility projects, including electrical, telecom, and gas systems, from inception to completion. This role offers the opportunity to work with a skilled team in a growing company focused on implementing innovative processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee project budgets, monitor costs, and control expenses to meet financial goals.
- Lead and coordinate with project teams, including field crews, subcontractors, and engineers, to ensure efficient project execution.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to minimize impacts on safety, cost, and schedule.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing inquiries.
- Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Manage permit applications and ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and safety standards.
- Allocate labor, materials, and equipment effectively to meet project demands.
- Review, approve, and negotiate change orders, adjusting project scope and budgets as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and daily reports, for effective project tracking and audits.
Profile
The perfect candidate is ambitious, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a growing organization. They should bring a mix of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in the underground utility construction industry. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Suite, and Excel is essential. My Client is open to candidates who are early in their careers (PE/APM level) and looking for mentorship opportunities.
