Senior Project Manager -DSA (k-12)

The Senior Project Manager for Construction will lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines. This role involves managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, overseeing contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project.

Description

• Lead and manage large-scale DSA (k-12) construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Coordinate and oversee the efforts of internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, and ensure adherence to these plans.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure procurement processes are executed efficiently.
• Identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions to mitigate them, maintaining project schedules and avoiding delays.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all project personnel.
• Lead project teams through challenges, providing direction and support to resolve issues and ensure project success.

Profile

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the construction industry with a general contractor

• Experience as Senior Project Manager on Ground Up DSA (k-12) projects

• Proficiency with computer software used in the construction industry

• Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial to success of the Project Manager

• Bachelors Degree in a related field
