Description
As an Field Engineer, you'll play a key role in project delivery and team success by:
Key Responsibilities
Support project teams with field coordination, layout, and surveying to ensure accuracy in construction execution.
Provide technical support for sitework and concrete operations, including layout, formwork, reinforcing, and pours.
Assist with interpreting drawings, specifications, and project documents to support field activities.
Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors to maintain schedule and quality standards.
Track project progress, prepare documentation, and maintain accurate field reports.
Monitor site safety practices and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot field issues and provide solutions to keep work moving efficiently.
Support material takeoffs, procurement, and equipment coordination as required.
Profile
The successful Field Engineer - Top Regional GC - Myrtle Beach should have the following qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years as a Project Engineer or Field Engineer on commercial projects.
- Education: BS in Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with construction software.
- Motivated: A strong drive to excel and deliver exceptional results.
