Client Details
Our client boasts of 100 years in industrial HVAC space with 15 global manufacturing facilities, and over 4,000 employees globally. They are a market leader in valves, fittings, and piping with their patented non threading, welding or flanging pipe assembly solutions.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential growth opportunities, emerging trends, and customer needs. Analyze market dynamics and competitive landscape to develop effective business strategies.
Business Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue and market share growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with company goals.
Customer Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. Understand their needs and challenges, and tailor solutions to meet those requirements effectively.
New Business Identification: Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including new markets, industries, and customer segments. Assess the feasibility and profitability of new ventures.
Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive sales efforts to meet or exceed revenue targets. Develop and execute sales plans, negotiate contracts, and close deals with customers and partners.
Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to expand market reach and enhance product/service offerings.
Market Positioning: Work closely with marketing teams to position our products and services effectively in the market. Develop and execute marketing campaigns to support business development efforts.
Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and tactics.
Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of the HVAC, mechanical piping, and construction markets and its key players.
- Prior experience selling to / working with commercial builds / general contractors.
- Prior expereince selling HVAC / Piping / Valves to - Data Center, Life Sciences, Semi-Conductor, Universities, Airports, Hotels, and more.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Job Offer
What's On Offer:
- Remote role in the NYC area.
- $130-160k base salary + competitive commission - $250-300k total compensation.
