Description

Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Carolinas Travel will be responsible for:

• Establishes staging plans and manages site logistics and workflow.
• Reviews subcontractor scopes of work, submittals and invoices and provides feedback to Project Manager for compliance and coordination.
• Assists Project Manager in job cost reporting and budget control.
• Collaborates with Project Manager in maintaining and updating construction schedules to identify and solve problems in pre-construction meetings prior to mobilization.
• Prepares daily reports, safety reports, schedules and supervises completion of final punch lists.
• Orders materials and schedules inspections as required or needed.
• Assists with recruiting and hiring needs. Trains field crew members, project engineers and junior superintendents and conducts safety orientations.
• Promotes job site safety and ensures employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy and regulatory requirements. Rectifies any job site hazards immediately.
• Conducts weekly safety and progress meetings.
• Maintains a clean, organized job site at all times including the construction office.
• Performs other job duties as assigned and/or required.

Profile

Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Carolinas Travel should have:

• 2+ Years of Superintendent Experience
• Experience as a Superintendent on commercial projects
• Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
• Knowledge of applicable construction software

• Highly competitive base salary - $90,000 - $120,000+ base
