Description

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and competitive bids for commercial interior buildouts.
• Review drawings, specs, and subcontractor proposals to ensure accuracy and scope alignment.
• Work closely with project teams to develop pricing strategies, value engineering options, and budget recommendations.
• Handle subcontractor outreach, scope reviews, and pricing comparisons.
• Assist with bid presentations, budgeting exercises, and project handoff to operations.
• Maintain updated knowledge of market pricing, materials, finishes, and interiors-specific construction costs.

Profile

A successful Estimator should have:

• Experience estimating commercial or corporate interior construction projects in NYC.
• Strong understanding of interior finishes, MEP coordination, and fast‑track project requirements.
• Highly organized, analytical, and detail‑oriented with excellent follow-through.
• A strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with PMs, supers, designers, and subcontractors.
• Someone who's proactive, thoughtful, and excited to grow within a top interiors GC.
