Billing Coordinator - Houston
This role supports a group of attorneys by managing all phases of the billing cycle, including invoice preparation, submission, and compliance with client guidelines. It involves hands-on collaboration with partners, associates, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely client billing.

Description
Manage the complete billing process including e-bill submission and follow-up
Liaise with attorneys on fee arrangements, billing schedules, and matter setup
Track aging WIP and assist with achieving billing targets
File billing documentation and ensure proper backup for posted bills
Respond promptly to attorney and client billing inquiries
Ensure billing compliance with client agreements and internal policies
Generate reports and assist with billing projections
Profile
2-4 years of law firm billing experience
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, e-billing tools, and document management systems
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Self-starter who works well independently and within a team
Able to handle pressure, competing deadlines, and prioritize effectively
Bachelor's in business, accounting, or finance preferred
