Senior Superintendent

The Healthcare Superintendent will oversee Colorado and national construction of ground up and remodel projects valued at or above $10M. They are in charge of organizing, planning, and overseeing project tasks. They complete quality inspections and supervise all project members, including staff and sub-contractors.

Description

The Healthcare Superintendent will oversee the following:

• Acts as chief problem solver on all design issues where applicable
• Approves subcontractor agreements
• Assists the Project Manager with fiscal responsibilities and submittals.
• Is responsible for project schedule updates and management
• Demonstrates strong construction process and knowledge of building codes
• Is responsible for material delivery schedules and implementing change management
• Communicates with the Project Manager, other superintendents, subcontractors and field leaders to ensure project status and any changes are known to all involved parties
• Supports the development of team member competencies and skill sets
• Is responsible for job set-up, communication, safety compliance, record-keeping, QC and project closeout
• Participates in preconstruction meetings with subcontractors
• Chairs weekly subcontractor Foreman meetings
• Walks the jobsite at least once each day to ensure safety, quality, and job progress
• Is responsible for adherence to shop drawings and project documents
• Reviews shop drawings for conformance to contract and field conditions
• Supports and enforces the requirements for jobsite safety
• Is responsible for full implementation of company safety, risk management, environmental and stormwater programs
• Provides constructability reviews for each set of progress drawings
• Reviews soils reports
• Conducts pre-award meetings with all major scopes of work
• Manages permits and inspections

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have the following:

• 6 years of ground up/ tenant improvement commercial project experience
• Experience with MOB, healthcare facilities construciton
• Degree in Construction Management or related industry degree
• Proficient in CMiC, Bluebeam, MS Office, Primavera 6, Procore preferred
• OSHA 30 Certification, First Aid Certification, Stormwater Management Cert
• Local to South Colorado

Job Offer

Competitive salary & bonus commensurate with experience - typically between $107,000-132,500
