Job Requirements of Assistant Superintendent Multifamily Construction:
Support the Project Manager in ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects.Participate in interviews and the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to secure new contracts.
Assist with estimating and bidding processes for upcoming projects.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of project details and requirements.
Reach out to subcontractors to generate interest in project involvement.
Collaborate with the Project Manager and Estimator to finalize plans and estimates before submission.
Ensure accurate and prompt completion of all monthly Project Manager review reports and achieve profitable, on-schedule project delivery.
Facilitate the creation, review, and negotiation of meeting minutes, Owner Change Orders, and Requests for Information with the project team.
Conduct project closeout walkthroughs with the Owner and Architect, gather all necessary closeout documentation, and confirm resolution of all punch list items.
Perform customer service tasks such as a 6-month post-completion check with the Owner and an 11-month warranty walkthrough to address any remaining issues.
Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, regularly updating them on project progress and budget status.

Profile
- 3-6 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager, with commercial project experience being an advantage.
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- A collaborative team player with a motivated and positive mindset.
- Interested in estimating tasks like change orders and pay applications but not required to handle bidding projects from scratch.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
- A strong ambition to advance into a Project Manager role.
- OSHA certification.
Job Offer
- Base salary of $88,000-$108,000 depending on the level of experience
