The Construction Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding the company's client base within the construction industry. This role requires strategic thinking, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to close deals that align with the company's growth objectives.

Our client is a leading construction company specializing in specialty contractor work. With a reputation for delivering high-quality builds, they are looking to expand their market presence and are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead their growth efforts.
Description
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the construction sector.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and potential clients.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing and project management teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Track and report on sales performance and progress toward business goals.
- Occasional travel required throughout the state of FL.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of experience in business development within the construction or related industries. They should possess a strong network of contacts and a proven track record in generating new business and closing deals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
