A Senior Project Manager leads end-to-end construction delivery for large-scale commercial projects, overseeing preconstruction, budgets, schedules, subcontractor performance, quality control, and closeout while serving as the primary client and design-team contact. You will be working directly with leadership and exectuive team to scale and grow their multifamily portfolio, while run some of their luxurious projects

Description

The Senior Project Manager will:

  • Own project delivery from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, cash flows, and budget forecasts; drive corrective action when variances occur.
  • Manage procurement and subcontractor selection, negotiate scopes and contracts, and enforce contractual performance.
  • Serve as primary client and design-team contact, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and protecting owner objectives.
  • Coordinate permitting, inspections, and compliance with local codes and Denton Floyd standards.
  • Lead cross-functional project meetings, align internal teams, and resolve field issues that impact cost or schedule.
  • Review and approve RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications with accurate documentation.
  • Implement and monitor quality control and safety programs to ensure high construction standards and a safe jobsite.
  • Mentor project staff, foster collaborative relationships with subcontractors, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee multifamily project portfolio

Profile

The Successful Senior Project Manager

  • 8+ years of experience in Construction
  • Ground-up experience
  • Commercial, Education, Retail, or Healthcare experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of construction technology and details
  • Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients
