Test Engineer - Electronic Manufacturing - Lowell, MA
My client is seeking a Test Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain test processes for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with functional testing, ICT (In-Circuit Testing), boundary scan, and debugging PCB assemblies to ensure product quality and performance.

Description
The Test Engineer will report directly into the Director of Engineering and be responsible for:
- Develop and implement test procedures for PCBAs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Set up and operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE), In-Circuit Test (ICT), and Functional Test systems.
- Analyze test data, troubleshoot faults, and recommend corrective actions.
- Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Maintain test documentation, including test plans, reports, and failure analysis records.
- Optimize test fixtures and methodologies to reduce test time and improve reliability.

Profile
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in PCB testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ICT, functional testing, and boundary scan techniques.
- Strong communication skills
