Estimator - Premier GC in Vermont/New Hampshire
The Estimator will play a crucial role in the Construction department by preparing accurate cost estimates and project budgets for various projects in the business services industry. This position is based in Boston and offers an opportunity to work on exciting projects with a well-regarded general contractor.

Description
- Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project teams to determine the scope of work and identify project requirements.
- Conduct quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and ensure timely submission to clients.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather project-specific information.
- Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project costs and efficiency.
- Assist in the development of project schedules and budgets in collaboration with the project management team.

Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in preparing cost estimates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
