Global non-profit with incredible mission is seeking a strategic and hands-on Learning & Development Manager to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs that support employee growth, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness across our global footprint.
This is an individual contributor role that will partner closely with HR, department heads, and regional leaders to ensure learning initiatives are aligned with our mission, values, and strategic goals.
Hybrid schedule - 3 days a week in office in NYC (Midtown)
$115k-$125 + incredible benefits package.

Description
- Develop and execute a global L&D strategy that supports employee development, leadership growth, and performance improvement
- Design and deliver engaging learning experiences (in-person, virtual, and blended) across diverse geographies and cultures
- Conduct needs assessments and collaborate with stakeholders to identify skill gaps and learning priorities
- Manage learning platforms and tools; evaluate and implement new technologies as needed
- Track and report on learning outcomes, engagement, and impact
- Support onboarding, compliance training, and career development initiatives
- Build internal capacity through train-the-trainer programs and coaching
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all learning materials and delivery methods
Profile
- 5+ years of experience in L&D, talent development, or organizational development
- Experience working in global or multicultural environments, ideally within the nonprofit or social impact sector
- Strong instructional design and facilitation skills
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning tools
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and across time zones
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or relevant certifications (e.g., CPTD, ATD) preferred
