The Senior Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for someone who has a background in public works construction, especially multi-story work.

Description

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from ground breaking to project closeout.
• Lead field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
• Manage daily site operations including scheduling, logistics, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Owners to resolve field challenges and maintain project momentum.
• Conduct regular coordination meetings and ensure timely communication among all stakeholders.
• Monitor productivity and enforce safety and quality standards throughout the duration of the project.
• Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents and field staff.

Profile

A successful Senior Superintendent should have:

• 10+ years of experience in commercial or public works construction, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent role.
• Strong background in K-12, DSA, or higher education projects (performing arts or similar large-scale facilities preferred).
• Experience managing ground-up projects valued at $30M+.
• Proficient in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to foster teamwork on site.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality assurance.
