Project Manager - Sterling/Glen Burnie - Construction
Our Client is seeking a qualified candidate with experience in construction management, particularly in ground-up projects valued at $25 million or more, to join their employee-owned team in the DC Metro area. The role involves leading projects in diverse sectors such as education, health care, historical renovations, and government buildings.

Description
- Oversee all phases of large-scale construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and team members to ensure project alignment and efficiency.
- Manage project schedules using tools like Procore and P6 to track progress and deadlines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders and prepare project reports to keep all parties informed.
- Lead project meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and promote collaboration.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment while maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, tracking expenses and managing resources effectively.
Profile
The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with progressive experience in skilled trades or a degree in civil engineering or a related field. They will possess a proven track record of leading large-scale projects valued at $25 million or more, demonstrating expertise in both new construction and renovations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in using project management tools like Procore and P6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Additionally, they will exhibit a passion for their work, a competitive spirit, and a commitment to upholding the company's values of integrity and strong relationships. Experience in the education, health care, or historic preservation sectors is a plus.
