Construction Asst. Project Manager - New Jersey
Currently seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of ground-up multifamily projects in Elizabeth, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a high-performing construction team, with hands-on exposure to all phases of project management from preconstruction through closeout.

Description
Project Management: Assist in managing ground-up multifamily construction projects from permitting to completion
Team Management: Support the Project Manager in coordinating subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Budget Oversight: Help manage project budgets, procurement logs, and cost control processes
Schedule Management: Monitor schedules and ensure key milestones are being met; identify and report potential delays
Quality Control: Participate in site visits, inspections, and coordination meetings as needed
Profile
2-4 years of experience in a construction project support role, preferably in multifamily or commercial work
Familiarity with the full project lifecycle, including scheduling, budgeting, and document control
Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar
Ability to read and understand blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced and team-driven environment
