The Construction Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and other workers on the job site
- Ensuring that all work is done in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements
- Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure that they are accurate and complete
- Working with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets
- Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports
- Communicating regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Identifying and addressing issues and problems that arise during construction
- Ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Conducting site inspections and safety audits to ensure that the job site is safe and secure
Profile
The right Construction Superintendent will have:
- 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a GC
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction Technology, or related field preferred
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects
- Strong literacy of MS Word, Excel and Procore
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- OSHA 30
