Senior Accountant

We are currently in search of a seasoned Senior Accountant with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the property industry

Description

• Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting operations including billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and tax compliance.
• Coordinate and execute the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Support the company in achieving its financial objectives by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.

Profile

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven working experience in accounting, ideally within the property industry.
• Public experience
• Strong proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations
• Strong experience with financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Offer

• An estimated salary range of $85,000 - $95,000.
