Contract Administrator / Permitting Specialist
The Contract Administrator / Permitting Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the construction and development process by managing all aspects of permitting and contract administration. This dual-role position ensures timely acquisition of permits and accurate execution of contracts, contributing to the seamless delivery of high-end residential projects.

Description
Permitting Specialist Duties:
- Prepare, submit, and track permit applications with local municipalities and regulatory agencies.
 - Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to gather required documentation.
 - Monitor permit status and proactively resolve issues or delays.
 - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements.
 - Serve as the primary liaison with city/county officials and inspectors.
 
Contract Administrator Duties:
- Draft, review, and manage contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
 - Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and project specifications.
 - Track contract milestones, deliverables, and expiration dates.
 - Assist in budget tracking and change order management.
 - Maintain organized records of all contracts and related documentation.
 
Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in permitting or contract administration, preferably in residential construction.
 - Strong understanding of Palm Beach County permitting processes and building regulations.
 - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore).
 - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
 - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
