Assistant Project Manager - Electrical Contractor
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for supporting the Project Manager through helping with RFIs, Submittals, Change orders. Additionally you will communicate with contractors and clients as needed and visit the site as needed.

Our client has been in business over 30 years specializing in electrical contracting primarily south of Boston. They work in partnership with large contractors on exciting projects throughout the area.
Description
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for
- Collaborate with project manager, clients, architects, engineers, and other internal stakeholders to understand project objectives, scope, and requirements
- Work as part of a Project Management team including a Project Manager, and Assistant Project Manager and a Project Coordinator
- Assist in developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring they align with client expectations and company standards
- Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and resources required for successful project execution
- Serve as a point of contact for clients during the project lifecycle, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly.
Profile
The successful Assistant Project Manager Electrical Contractor
- 3+ Years of Experience as an APM
- Ideal background in Electrical work
- Electrical certifications or specific schooling preferred
- Basic understanding of construction software
- Degree preferred but not required
- Commutable to Walpole MA - In office role with some field visits required
