Development Project Manager

The Development Project Manager will oversee property development projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and efficient execution. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles within the property industry.

Description

• Manage property development projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, addressing any variances promptly.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Handle risk management and mitigate any potential project delays or issues.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure project satisfaction.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and services needed for project completion.

Profile

A successful Development Project Manager should have:

• Robust underwriting expeirnece, having seen projects from start to finish.
• Must have had exposure to LIHTC or Section 8 projects, ideally tenant in place
• A proven track record in project management within the property industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and property development.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
