Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Superintendent to join their team. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing commercial construction projects, including ground-up and renovation work.

Key responsibilities for Superintendent - Established General Contractor - NC/SC include:

  • Conduct weekly meetings and daily communications with subcontractors to evaluate project progress, manage schedules, handle changes, and coordinate deliveries. Oversee the project site until completion.
  • Identify and address design deficiencies, schedule issues, and other project-specific challenges proactively.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Prime Contract, all subcontracts, project drawings, and specifications to ensure all aspects of the project are effectively managed.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure that the job site consistently meets or exceeds OSHA safety standards.
  • Keep comprehensive documentation throughout the project, including maintaining up-to-date change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal records.
  • Engage daily with owners, tenant representatives, construction managers, other superintendents, and project coordinators to ensure alignment and progress toward project goals.

Profile

Superintendent - Established General Contractor - NC/SC should have:

  • 3+ years as a Superintendent with proven experience managing commercial projects, including ground-up and renovation work.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work on projects primarily in NC/SC and Southeast Region
  • A team player who thrives in a close-knit, professional yet relaxed work environment.
