Michael Page is partnered with one of the Greater Boston Area's Top General Contractors that has a strong hold on Boston's Lab & Life Science market. With a solid pipeline of work ahead, they are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team.
Client Details
Our client is one of Massachusetts' most reputable General Contractors with a strong presence in Boston's life science, lab, and healthcare markets. They have built a reputable name for themselves as a leading contractor with local hospitals, academic institutions, and bio-pharmaceutical companies over the past 30 years, resulting in more than 90% of their work coming from repeat business. Mostly all of their senior leaders and board level members have been organically grown through the business. Not only are they popular amongst their clients, but with their employees as well resulting in a strong average employee tenure. With a significant pipeline to carry them through the rest of this year and through the end of 2024, they are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team.
Description
The Assistant Project Manager - Lab & Life Science Projects will be responsible for:
- assisting one or more Project Managers with day-to-day project activities
- participating in staff meetings
- assisting in the preparation of RFP/bid packages
- completing RFIs, submittals, and managing change orders
Profile
The right Assistant Project Manager - Lab & Life Science Projects will have:
- 1+ years of experience in construction (preferred - will consider candidates with internship experience)
- a Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related field (preferred)
- eagerness to learn
- strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Job Offer
The Assistant Project Manager - Lab & Life Science Projects will receive:
- a base salary up to $95,000 depending on experience
- annual bonus
