My client is seeking someone to lead capital improvement and process engineering projects to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and quality. The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and executing projects while collaborating across teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-impact results.

Description

In this role you will report directly into the Engineering Manager and have the opportunity to:

• Developing staged project deliverables, including scope, process flow, and feasibility analyses
• Executing project designs with detailed diagrams, specifications, and installation oversight
• Planning and managing capital resources, project costs, timelines, and vendor coordination
• Promoting strong stakeholder communication through design reviews, business cases, and project updates
• Maintaining technical knowledge and promoting innovation in project execution and facility improvements
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree or related
• 7+ years of project leadership experience
• Ability to lead and mentor
• Hands-on engineering skills
• Compliance project experience a plus
• Pumps, piping, etc. experience a plus
