Regional Sales Manager - Gears - REMOTE MIDWEST
The Sales Director will lead and strategize client relationships and revenue in the Midwest region. They should have prior experience in custom gear / gearbox sales. This is an individual regional selling role covering 10 states in the Midwest.

This opportunity is with a small-sized company operating within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector specifically in custom gears / gearboxes. They sell into oil and gas, con ag, marine, utility, medical and more. The company is known for its specialized expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions to its clients.
Description
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed company revenue targets.
- Work with existing clients in the Midwest region to renew interest in company products / services.
- Expand customer base with new business develop.
- Take a highly value based sales approach.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business and referrals.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sales activities.

Profile
A successful Sales Director should have:
- 10-15+ years of experience in technical sales
- 5+ years of experience selling gears / gearbox solutions
- 5+ years of value based technical sales experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the Industrial / Manufacturing industry and sales processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to build lasting client relationships.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $150,000 USD annually + sales commission / bonus.
- Remote role in the Midwest with high travel.
