This Production Manager oversees day to day production operations, leading a hands on team to ensure timely delivery, quality output, and continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment. It's an on site cross functional leadership position ideal for someone with strong operational experience, team management skills, and a background in quality-driven production.

Description

The Production Manager will:

• Oversee the assignment of daily manufacturing tasks to ensure optimal technician utilization.
• Drive performance standards by reinforcing ownership and responsibility across the production floor.
• Communicate status updates on major builds in a timely manor
• Determine production sequencing based on delivery urgency and available personnel.
• Continuously assess throughput to recommend staffing adjustments or work flow enhancements.
• Integrate closely with other teams to coordinate efforts and maintain seamless production support.

Profile

The Ideal Production Manager:

• Experience leading a small production team
• Strong operational background with a focus on continuous improvement
• Medical device or similar industry experience preferred
• Engineering degree or technical degree required (engineering background is a plus)
• Able to manage shifting priorities and team capacity (team of 8, 1 going on leave)
• Cross-functional mindset; works well with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering
• Clear communicator who drives accountability and schedules effectively
