Description

• Source and procure raw materials and ingredients to meet production requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
• Analyze market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of procurement processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement practices and strategies.

Profile

A successful Senior Buyer - Ingredients should have:

• 4+ years of experience in a Buyer, Purchasing, or related supply chain role
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain processes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting
• Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred but not required
• Familiarity with supply and demand planning tools
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proactive problem-solving approach with attention to detail
• Effective verbal communication and negotiation skills
