Manufacturing Engineer | Aerospace | Bartlett, IL
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the design, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes to improve product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, ensure smooth production, and drive continuous improvements in manufacturing operations.

Description
- Manage the machining process, including selecting/designing workholding, CAM programming, and simulation
- Collaborate with quality control (QC) teams to ensure proper inspection processes are in place
- Provide technical support to shop floor personnel during part launches and throughout the production process
- Implement LEAN methodologies to drive cost savings & efficiency improvements
- Work in SolidWorks/CAD software for design of custom tooling/fixtures
Profile
- Proficiency with Mastercam for 5-axis milling
- Experience designing complex workholding solutions for challenging parts
- Strong knowledge of modern cutting tool and toolholding systems
- Proficient in reading Blueprints and applying GD&T
- Experience working with hard metals
- Strong mathematical skills
- Vericut experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Solidworks or other equivalent CAD software is a plus
- Mill/Turn experience is a plus
- A proven track record demonstrating the required skills and experience is highly preferred
Job Offer
- Base salary $100,000 - $120,000 based on level of experience
- Annual cash bonus incentive based on company performance
- 3 Weeks PTO + 2 floating holidays
