Senior Project Manager - Healthcare Construction
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the conversion of an existing building into a state-of-the-art medical facility in Wellington, Florida. This role will oversee all phases of a healthcare project valued at approximately $40M, ensuring successful delivery from preconstruction through closeout.

Our client is a well-established general contractor with a strong footprint in healthcare construction throughout South Florida. They are known for delivering complex, highly regulated medical projects while maintaining strong relationships with owners, architects, and healthcare end users.
Description
Manage the full lifecycle of a healthcare construction project, from preconstruction planning through final turnover
Lead a conversion/renovation project, coordinating design, construction, and commissioning activities
Oversee project budget, schedule, procurement, and cost controls for a ~$40M project
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and healthcare stakeholders
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, AHCA requirements, life safety codes, and infection control standards
Lead and mentor project teams, including Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers
Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining quality and safety standards
Profile
8+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with a general contractor
Proven experience delivering healthcare construction projects in the $40M range
Strong background in renovations or building conversions, preferably within medical or healthcare environments
Deep understanding of healthcare codes, MEP-intensive construction, and regulatory requirements
Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in an active, occupied or semi-occupied environment
