Senior Project Manager, Concrete

$130,000 - $160,000/Year

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex concrete construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. This role requires comprehensive oversight of planning, budgeting, team coordination, and execution, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

Our client is a well-established, self-perform general contractor with a strong presence across the Southeast, known for delivering technically demanding concrete and structural work. They pride themselves on their ability to control quality and schedules by self-performing core trades and investing in long-term team development.

Description

  • Lead all phases of concrete construction projects including estimating, scheduling, procurement, and field execution.

  • Manage budgets, track costs, and generate forecasts and requisitions to ensure financial accuracy.

  • Oversee submittals, RFIs, document control, and change management processes.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards both in the office and in the field.

  • Conduct site visits, hold progress meetings, and proactively resolve constructability or coordination issues.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and owners to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

  • Occasionally travel to regional job sites as needed.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience managing concrete or structural self-perform construction projects.

  • Deep understanding of Divisions 6, 10, 12, and 32 preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, On-Screen Takeoff, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Timberline).

  • Strong communicator with excellent planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to balance multiple hats-comfortable contributing across PM, estimating, and coordination roles.

  • Committed to safety and quality on every job site.
