My client is seeking a strong Quality leader to oversee operations in their Dayton, Ohio site. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in people leadership, chemical manufacturing, supplier quality, and manufacturing.

My client is a Global Leader in Power Solutions for commercial industries. They Dayton site specializes in automotive care and is their top plastics manufacturing site worldwide. The site operates with a low public profile but is integral to my client's broader manufacturing and supply chain network.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Quality Manager are:

• Lead a team of quality engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.​
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes to ensure product quality meets or exceeds company standards.​
• Utilize quality tools and methodologies to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.​
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.​
• Work closely with R&D, engineering, and production teams to integrate quality considerations into product development and manufacturing processes.​
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.​
• Address customer complaints and feedback, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain customer satisfaction.

Profile

The successful Quality Manager will have the following:

• 5+ years of Managerial or Supervisory experience
• Background in Chemical Manufacturing
• Experience working with suppliers
• Background in Chemical Blending is Highly Preferred
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Standards
