My client is a family owned Custom Home Builder, specializing in Ground Up Custom homes ranging from $800k to multi million dollar properties. Their projects are located throughout the Worcester area and Central MA, working with clients looking to create their dream home. They assist in Lot Selection, Site Preparation, Home Design & Construction, Interiors, and General Construction.

Description

The Site Manager will be responsible for:

• Travel between multiple (all) job sites and simultaneously manage workloads of individual projects.

• Select, coordinate, and manage subcontractors and suppliers involved in the construction process; monitor subcontractor performance, resolve conflicts, and ensure adherence to project requirements, and timelines.

• Review and become familiar with the schedule and ensure adherence to it; follow the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met.

• Lead and motivate the on-site construction team, including subcontractors and suppliers; foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promote teamwork, and provide guidance and support as needed.

• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing safety protocols and ensuring adherence to relevant building codes, regulations, and permits; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections as needed to address any safety concerns promptly.

• Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organize meetings and cooperate with team members in various roles as necessary.

• Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project; ensure that all construction work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations - conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deficiencies promptly.

• Responsible for confirming correct materials are delivered on-site when needed.

• Communicate with the project team and support each subcontractor to execute their job duties effectively and efficiently.

• Perform inspections and schedule inspectors to meet the varying safety and compliance regulations of each job location.

Profile

The Site Manager will have:

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience
• Valid MA Driver's license with a clean record
• Comfortable working in a team environment
• Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills
• Ability to proactively plan and take initiative
• Nice to have: ability to train new workers
• Nice to have: experience with on-site construction, hands on experience
