Description

The General Manager will:

• Direct and manage daily operations to ensure seamless production and achievement of organizational goals and KPIs.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Champion site safety programs, promoting safe practices and a strong safety culture among employees.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, boost efficiency, and minimize production waste.
• Design and implement training programs to maintain operational excellence and adherence to company standards.
• Assess staffing needs and optimize scheduling for maximum resource utilization.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to build a motivated, high-performing team.
• Resolve operational challenges promptly to minimize disruptions and ensure timely delivery to customers.

Profile

A successful General Manager should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• MBA is a plus.
• Certifications in Operations Management, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma preferred.
• Experience with data analysis and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of business operations, process optimization, and supply chain management.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration across departments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
