Vice President, Underwriting
The Vice President, Underwriting will play a critical role in evaluating and approving LIHTC property investments, ensuring the highest standards in risk assessment and deal structuring. This position offers an opportunity to lead underwriting efforts in the property industry while working on impactful projects.

Description
- Lead the underwriting process for property investment opportunities, including risk assessment and financial analysis.
- Develop and implement underwriting guidelines and standards to ensure consistent evaluation practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure deals and assess feasibility.
- Review and approve underwriting reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to inform underwriting decisions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members within the underwriting department.
- Communicate underwriting findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and company standards in the underwriting process.

Profile
A successful Vice President, Underwriting should have:
- LIHTC experience or Section 8 is ESSENTIAL
- A strong background in property underwriting and risk assessment.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling and investment analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to leadership.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach to staying informed on market and industry trends.
- Experience in managing and mentoring team members.
- A degree in finance, real estate, or a related field.
