Inside Sales - Lighting - ONSITE Shelton

$75,000 - $90,000/Year

Take over an already thriving business within an established brand and a North American leader within the lighting industry. Seeking a proactive candidate to be on-site in Shelton, CT, 5 days a week.

Client Details

Our client is a recognized leader in custom electrical power distribution and control systems, serving mission-critical sectors such as live entertainment, film production, generator rental, and industrial distribution

Description

  • Serve as a consultative resource to customers, understanding needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Generate and follow up on sales quotes to convert inquiries into orders.
  • Develop and maintain new and existing customer accounts through proactive outreach.
  • Manage a high volume of inbound calls and email inquiries.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support customer requirements and close deals.
  • Maintain CRM records, quote funnels, and customer documentation.
  • Participate in daily and weekly team meetings, as well as individual performance check-ins.
  • Promote new and in-stock product campaigns and support inventory-reduction efforts

Profile

  • Experience in inside sales, preferably within custom electrical or industrial products.
  • A background in entertainment or industrial applications is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NAV).
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong technical aptitude.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and deadlines.
  • High level of personal accountability, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; HS diploma or GED required.
  • Electrical license or technical field certification is a plus.
  • Strong project follow-through, CRM/ERP fluency, and communication skills
