Project Engineer - Commercial, Multifamily, & MEP

Description

• Quality control, scheduling, interpretation of plans & specifications, budget control, punch list, and closeout
• MEP related responsibilities: shop drawings, coordination between multiple pieces of equipment to ensure compatibility of equipment and meeting design engineers requirement
• Scheduling, budget, quality
• Work is executed under demanding deadlines
• Coordinate and oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including contractors and clients, to ensure project requirements are met.
• Prepare, review, and update project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Supervise and provide support to project teams to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all project activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures in the construction department.

Profile

A successful Project Engineer should have:

• Bachelors Degree in Construction, Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or other related fields
• Proficient in math skills; basic algebra, construction geometry
• High proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel
• High proficiency with typing
• Proficient writing skills
• Experience coordinating with and supporting leaders for team meetings and company reviews
• Reliable transportation
