Description

The Quality Manager (Semiconductor & Chemicals) will:

  • Lead the overall quality program to meet customer requirements and strategic objectives.
  • Manage and provide direction for the quality assurance team at the North Kingstown site.
  • Develop, implement, and integrate a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Act as a resource for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure quality is embedded in product development.
  • Translate customer quality requirements into actionable quality programs, including process control and inspection.
  • Establish consistent metrics (e.g., process capability, control charts) to monitor and improve system effectiveness.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze customer specifications for efficient, cost-effective manufacturing and reproducibility.
  • Drive vendor quality improvements by collaborating with Supply Chain and Supplier Quality Engineering teams.
  • Report quality trends and issues to senior management and participate in internal/external audits.
  • Foster a Quality Incident-Free culture, focusing on supplier quality, change control, and process management.

Profile

  • Manager or senior-level professional with a strong background in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing quality systems
  • Must have a background in chemical industries, with a focus on distillation, batch processing, filtration, or membrane methods
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, oil and gas, or semiconductor industries is acceptable if relevant expertise is demonstrated
  • Strong understanding of chemical processes and quality management requirements
  • Ability to lead quality initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Local to Warwick, Rhode Island or open to relocation - relocation package provided!
