My client is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team based out of Warrenton, VA. My Client is a leading 8A contractor with over 15 years of expertise in underground utility installations, specializing in trenchless methods for the data center and power plant sectors.

Description
As the Quality Control Manager, you'll report directly to the Director of Construction and manage a team of eight. You'll be responsible for ensuring all dry utility installations (power, telecom, gas) are executed to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and accuracy. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage quality assurance programs on active job sites
- Conduct regular inspections and audits for safety, regulatory compliance, and installation quality
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, construction drawings, and industry standards (OSHA, NEC, NESC)
- Develop and maintain quality control documentation, checklists, and reports
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions in collaboration with field and project teams
- Train field crews and supervisors on best practices and safety compliance
- Monitor materials and equipment for conformance with approved submittals
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support project close-out with accurate as-built documentation and final quality sign-offs
- Foster strong communication with internal teams, clients, and third-party inspectors
Profile

You are someone who:
- Has 5-15 years of experience in quality control, field engineering, or related roles in underground utility or infrastructure work
- Understands trenchless installation and dry utilities (power, telecom, gas)
- Is highly familiar with safety and regulatory standards (OSHA, NEC, NESC)
- Communicates effectively with both field and office teams
- Has strong organizational and documentation skills
- Can train and mentor junior staff
- Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment where your input matters
