Job Requirements of Commercial Construction Superintendent- Beaverton, OR:
* Has multiple years of experience doing ground up construction• Has ran projects that are valued at $20M or more
The superintendent will work alongside the project manager and project engineers on $8M to $12M dollar commercial ground up construction
They will have a proven track record in being able to confidently oversee site work on commercial construction projects, being able to provide high quality work, follow schedule plans while being able to comply with safety regulations

Our client is a mid- size general contractor that has been in business for over 40 years, specializing in k-12 and industrial GU projects
This general contractor does self-perform concrete and did $90M annually, they have a 10 year plan to do $250M annually
Their upcoming projects are primary K-12 seismic/ structural upgrade and concrete tilt ups that range from $8-12M
This company is landing projects every month and are creating an extensive backlog of ground up projects.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers and subcontractors to ensure project goals are achieved
• Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and overall project time line
• Manage on- site construction activities, including organized and scheduling subcontractors, monitoring progress, and resolving issues as they arise
• Ensure compliance and building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspection to monitor work quality, safety practices, and adherence to project plans and specifications
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, subcontractors, and team members
• Manage and motivate on-site construction teams to achieve project objectives
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices, change orders, and other project related documentation
Successful Candidate:
• The candidate has over 10 years of construction experience and about 4+ years of being a Superintendent
• Can have projects that are commercial/ industrial and multifamily backgrounds
• Able to run projects that are between $8M to $12M
• Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards applicable to construction projects in Oregon
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools, such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project
• Strong ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• OSHA 30- Hour construction Safety Certification (preferred).
